Sophie Hall-Smith
Graduate
Sophie is currently working on exciting micro grid and geothermal projects for clients and is one of 4 graduates selected to join Syzygy's graduate scheme this year.
Having studied General Engineering at Durham University, specialising in Renewable Energy, she chose to work in renewables she was keen to do something 'good' with her career. Our work at Syzygy means she can support real estate clients every step of the way through to actually implementing and using the 'good' technologies out there!
She did a fascinating Masters project where she designed a distributed renewable power system for a local UK winery, whereby the waste from the winery would be used to generate energy.
In her free time Sophie will likely be found singing – whether that be at home dancing around the kitchen or as part of a choir!
