Ben Smith
Associate Director, EV Strategy
Ben is Associate Director focusing predominantly on the delivery of EV charging projects. Ben will be using his experience of hands on delivery in the industry to procure and manage Charge Point Operators, advising on best practice before, during and after the installation phase.
Ben Studied English at the University of Reading and shortly after, he moved into the Renewables industry, working on tendering for new contracts in the Energy, Water and Waste Management Sectors. Following that, his focus turned to Operations and Delivery at a UK based chargepoint operator, where he played a key role in the companies scale up operation, where they installed over 3,000 public chargepoints across the UK over the last 2 and a half years.
Ben is an APMQ qualified Project Manager and enjoys all things sport, agriculture and travelling in his spare time.Â
