Renewable Energy.

Syzygy are specialists in market tested commercialisation strategies, such as the integration of solar power on rooftops, EV charging and energy storage. Solutions that can help landlords and occupiers move towards net zero and also make a financial return.

Many of our projects result in the crystallisation of the ‘energy value’ to an occupier, where the capital cost of the project is less than the value of the energy to an occupier during their lease term.

Energy Storage.

At Syzygy, we consider carefully on a case-by-case basis the pros and cons of all green technologies applicable to the location in which they are to be deployed. We’re witnessing a huge increase in enquiries about battery energy storage systems (BESS), as they migrate the risks associated with the uncertainty of future grid electricity costs and grid network capacity by optimising electricity consumption on-site.

Equally, they offer flexibility in the development of ‘smart gird’s and will be integral to future proof the UK’s infrastructure as the country races to net zero.

EV Charging Infastructure.

Syzygy works with clients on all aspects of EV charging. We provide an overall charging strategy and full analysis of sites using our evlab® software, identifying the number of chargers required along with forecast requirements to futureproof our clients’ assets.

Our Asset Management team can also manage income streams, the operation and fault detection of the EV charging points, and arrange planned and reactive works in line with the manufacturer’s warranty requirements.

Syzygy’s NetZero Toolkit® provided a clear path to reduce SEGRO’s site wide operational carbon emissions at Premier Park, through onsite initiatives and embedded energy generation. This, coupled with Syzygy’s extensive knowledge and experience commercialising renewable energy opportunities, delivered a clear route to reducing our asset level operational carbon. We are now deploying this approach on other industrial assets throughout London.
