Yevgeny Kogan
Analyst
Yevgeny works as an Analyst in the consulting team, where he conducts feasibility reports for PV and EV charging port projects with integrated Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). He is also involved in developing in-house tools to further refine the efficiency and accuracy of the feasibility process.
He holds a Master of Engineering degree in Integrated Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the University of Bath. With a year of professional experience in the CCGT/HRSG industry, Yevgeny worked as a consultant, delivering investigation-based solutions to clients. This hands-on exposure to real-world challenges inspired a shift in focus toward cleaner energy sources and sustainable methods.
Driven by a passion for decarbonisation, Yevgeny has pursued academic modules related to the electrical grid, EVs, and battery technologies. He also served in a leadership role within the university’s Formula Student EV team, further developing his technical and collaborative skills.
Outside of engineering, Yevgeny enjoys staying active and social through sports, including football, tennis, and regular gym sessions. In his free time, he finds joy in cooking for others, sharing meals, and occasionally playing the piano when time allows.
