John was inspired to launch Syzygy as a specialist consultancy in 2010 in order to bridge the gap between commercial real estate and green tech. His vision is to lead the market and deliver commercially viable and practical renewable energy solutions for property owners, investors and occupiers.
With a background in commercial property fund management – he spent 15 years of his career at Ashtenne Holdings PLC and Spitfire Estates – he has extensive experience managing investments for some of the biggest names in the industry. He understands real estate as well as the challenges and issues the sector faces in futureproofing, safeguarding and optimising assets.
In his leisure time John loves the water, enjoying cold-water swimming every morning at Tooting Bec Lido, as well as sailing. He plays cricket and golf – preferably at Trevose in Cornwall - when he isn’t needed for Dad duties and will watch most London-Scottish home rugby games.
