Tom Sharp
Senior Consultant
Tom is a Senior Consultant in our Consultancy team. In this role, Tom analyses technical feasibility and return on investment for solar PV, battery storage, and smart grids for sites in the UK and EU. This involves advising on recommended solutions and project structures which fit the needs of a given asset type, building owner, occupier, and jurisdiction.
Tom also coordinates Syzygy’s network of partners across the EU, enabling Syzygy to offer expert consultancy, project delivery, and asset management services across Europe.
Prior to joining Syzygy, Tom worked as a consultant and project manager on net zero carbon energy projects, including feasibility studies and tendering for solar PV systems. Tom studied physics at Cambridge and holds an MSci in Physical Natural Sciences. His master’s courses focused on renewable energy technologies and climate change.
Outside of work, Tom plays volleyball, competes in triathlons, and is learning French.
