Toby Hallifax
Head of Asset Management
Toby leads the Asset Management team at Syzygy, overseeing the performance and optimisation of solar PV, EV charging infrastructure, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) on behalf of our clients.
He has played a key role in developing the tools and processes that enable the team to manage these assets effectively and at scale.
With over eight years of experience in the renewables industry, Toby brings deep technical and commercial expertise to the role. Prior to joining Syzygy, he managed operations for a UK-based energy storage company, and has worked with a broad range of renewable technologies. His academic background includes a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Engineering with Finance from UCL – a foundation that underpins the value-led, analytical approach he brings to asset management.
Outside of work Toby is a passionate foodie, a football enthusiast and enjoys going to festivals and electronic music events.
