Founder & CEO
John founded Syzygy in 2010 with a clear vision: to bridge the gap between commercial real estate and green technology. His goal was to create a specialist consultancy that leads the market in delivering commercially viable, practical renewable energy solutions for property owners, investors, and occupiers.
His main focus in the business currently is to focus on key client relationships, product development and broader strategic initiatives.
With over 15 years’ experience in commercial property fund management—gained at Ashtenne Holdings PLC and Spitfire Estates - John brings deep industry insight to the business. He has managed investments for some of the most prominent names in the sector and understands both the operational realities and strategic challenges of futureproofing real estate assets in a rapidly changing world.
Away from the office, John is an avid water enthusiast, starting most mornings with a cold-water swim at Tooting Bec Lido. He also enjoys sailing, playing cricket and golf (ideally at Trevose in Cornwall), and supporting London Scottish RFC—when he’s not busy with his favourite role: being a dad.
